Photorealistic View Into Your Industrial Facility
Gaussian Visuals is a new, photoreal view available in SolidComp Reality Twin. It uses state-of-the-art Gaussian splatting to render your existing facility as a near-photographic, navigable 3D environment. The result is an exceptionally lifelike view that improves understanding, communication and engagement across teams and partners.
Gaussian Visuals enhances Reality Twin by focusing on visual fidelity and clarity. Millions of Gaussian “splats” reproduce colour-accurate depth, shading and texture, allowing you to recognise equipment, read context and brief stakeholders with ease, directly in the browser, on a laptop or in immersive devices.
No generative modelling. 3D model is created from actual scans. SolidComp does not use generative AI to fabricate geometry in Reality Twin.
Reality Twin with Gaussian visuals provides you unpreceded tools for visual reviews, stakeholder engagement and site familiarisation, while keeping all your operational and asset data just a click away.
Create Wins with Visual Communication and Measurement Precision
Using Gaussian Visuals dramatically improves prediction of interference, support of safety visuals, and speeds up virtual collaboration tools by 30–60% in industrial settings.
Visual ROI
- A striking engagement tool for partners and investors.
- Explore your factory for up to 80% faster management decisions.
Maintenance & Safety
- Site visits and safety training can be previewed with millimetre-level accuracy, reducing rework, downtime, and unnecessary visits
Efficiency
- Immersive, highly communicable environment for teams and project managers.
- Shorten reviews, accelerate onboarding and improve cross-functional collaboration
When You Need to See Your Facility as It Truly Looks
Use 3D Visuals and Interface for design reviews, safety briefings, contractor onboarding and stakeholder communication.
Photoreal view
- Use Immersive, colour-accurate scenes in 3D environment or take screen-cap pictures for shared understanding and quick decision-making.
Link data
- Open manuals, work orders and IoT feeds from the same interface.
- Built immersive safety and training courses inside 3D environment.
Switch views
- Toggle between Gaussian Visuals and laser-scanned mesh/point-cloud views to suit the task.
How to get started
- Book your Gaussian Visuals demo.
- Select your license package. Enterprise includes everything; or upgrade to Advanced or Pro + add-ons.
- Define your needs for up-to-date as-built documentation and choose between a mobile scanner for your own use or additional scanning as a service as needed.
- Initial scan: We scan your facility efficiently with mobile scanner suitable for Gaussian visuals data format
- Start using Gaussian Visuals, accessing it through Reality Twin on your regular laptop. We deliver training & scanner kit for updating your data (if included).
- For environment data updates, scan your site using a handheld LiDAR scanner or use our service.
If you also have a need for point-cloud -based measurement data, we can pair Gaussian Visuals with existing or new laser scanning to deliver a traditional mesh-based view alongside the photoreal view.
