Aiming to provide industry with services that exceed international security-level requirements
SolidComp provides innovative digitalisation solutions in the form of industrial scanning services and digital twins. As a result of a study carried out with Business Finland, SolidComp identified factors supporting international growth, particularly in Northern Europe. The project therefore aims to support international growth through credibility, customisation and security.
To serve these markets, we are developing international-level product safety especially for intangible digital products. As part of the project, we have, for example, developed our information security processes to meet ISO 27001 requirements. Product safety has proven added value for customers, and we want to provide documented reliability at an international information security level, supported by robust technical solutions.
The project also includes the development of SolidComp’s software product and overall service offering to meet the needs of international customers. In future, Reality Twin can be deployed flexibly in the customer’s own IT systems as an on-premise solution, in a European or Finnish cloud environment, or in another operating environment that meets the customer’s requirements.
This development direction strongly reflects current customer needs. Changes in the global operating environment, the growing importance of critical infrastructure and the information security questions brought by artificial intelligence have increased the need for solutions that give customers more precise control over data location, access rights and security requirements. In the development of Reality Twin, we are investing in enabling industrial digital 3D data to be used efficiently and securely, also in demanding international environments.
Supporting SolidComp’s Strategy
SolidComp aims to expand its operations into new industrial sectors and international markets by continuing to develop its scalable Reality Twin solution.
To support this strategy, the project focuses on building the foundations for internationalisation and export growth. This includes strengthening information security, developing the overall service offering to meet international customer requirements, identifying new international partners and investing in resources and expertise.
Taken as a whole, the project creates a unified development path in which information security, international readiness, the partner model and technical solutions suitable for security-critical environments are developed in parallel. This ensures that Reality Twin can continue to evolve into a secure, scalable and internationally competitive solution.
