Scorecard
A scorecard is a structured performance measurement and visualisation tool used to monitor how an organisation, team, or individual is progressing toward predefined objectives. It transforms data into actionable insights by highlighting areas of success and aspects requiring improvement.
Scorecards aggregate quantitative and qualitative metrics into an organised format, typically presented as charts or dashboards. These metrics are aligned with strategic goals, allowing users to assess progress in real time or over set reporting periods. Scorecards often include threshold indicators (e.g. red-yellow-green) to make performance issues instantly visible.
A scorecard system helps bridge the gap between operational execution and strategic planning by making performance data transparent and accessible to decision-makers. It supports data-driven decision-making, performance alignment, and continuous improvement.
