Ekokompassi (known in English as EcoCompass) is a Finnish environmental management system and certificate, based on the international ISO 14001 standard. It provides a practical framework that guides organisations in identifying their most significant environmental impacts and developing an environmental programme to reduce them.

By working towards this recognised Finnish environmental management certificate, SolidComp aims to enhance its positive environmental impact while helping customers achieve greater efficiency and sustainability.

As part of the Ekokompassi process, SolidComp has defined an environmental programme with three key focus areas: Subcontractor environmental awareness, optimised transport and driving practices in our scanning projects, and enhancing transparency and communication of SolidComp’s environmental actions. These actions including greater visibility of sustainability initiatives and assessing the environmental footprint of SolidComp’s scanning services to inform future improvements.

By concentrating on these areas, SolidComp is integrating sustainability into daily operations and partnerships, ensuring that environmental responsibility is woven into the fabric of how the company does business.
